Research in structural engineering addresses the design and analysis of a variety of structural systems, with an emphasis on bridges and tall buildings.

HIGHLIGHT

MCEER

The Federal Highway Administration is a major research partner of UB's Multidisciplinary Center for Earthquake Engineering Research (MCEER). Established in 1986, MCEER has coordinated more than $120 million in projects. It provides research and training opportunities for CSEE students.
