Overview
Groundwater Research Group
UB's Groundwater Research Group brings together faculty and student expertise from three academic departments and three major research centers to tackle multidisciplinary research problems related to groundwater management. Current research foci include regional groundwater flow and reactive contaminant transport modeling, application of remote sensing and innovative data collection techniques to groundwater modeling, model calibration and data management, and subsurface remediation. Current research sponsors include NSF, EPA, NASA, West Valley Nuclear Services, and the Netherlands.
