Research in and application of advanced and emerging technologies to reduce earthquake damage and losses through improved engineering, pre-earthquake planning, and post-earthquake recovery strategies

MCEER

The Federal Highway Administration is a major research partner of UB's Multidisciplinary Center for Earthquake Engineering Research (MCEER). Established in 1986, MCEER has coordinated more than $120 million in projects. It provides research and training opportunities for CSEE students.
