Graduate Student Organizations

Civil Engineering Graduate Student Association (GSA)

This organization provides a framework for CSEE graduate student activities, including informational meetings, social gatherings, and student-faculty mixers. Elected officers represent CSEE graduate students at both the departmental and university level. All CSEE graduate students are invited to participate

Professional Societies and Associations

There are more than 30 professional societies and associations related to civil, structural, and environmental engineering. Many of these associations have student membership rates.

HIGHLIGHT

MCEER

The Federal Highway Administration is a major research partner of UB's Multidisciplinary Center for Earthquake Engineering Research (MCEER). Established in 1986, MCEER has coordinated more than $120 million in projects. It provides research and training opportunities for CSEE students.
